Indoor walkway en. paris

Paris 11, France

In this unusually shaped apartment, space was largely underutilized: out of 56 m², nearly 19 m² were devoted solely to circulation. The aim of the project was to convert these wasted square meters into real uses and spatial potential.

The kitchen, which was hardly ever used, was moved into the living room, freeing up the long, narrow original room, which was transformed into a flexible space—an office or spare bedroom.

A central piece of furniture, designed as a multi-purpose unit with a variety of uses, plays a key role in this spatial reorganization. This large storage unit, sculpted at different angles, contains the toilet, a dressing room, and a bookcase. It accompanies and guides the path from the entrance to the other rooms, creating the experience of an interior walkway punctuated by varied perspectives and views to the outside.

"The project was to reinvent a small Parisian space into a pleasant, clever, and lively place. Challenge met thanks to Gwendoline, with a color palette and an eco-friendly approach."
